[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing: 2024 Riverview School District Capital Facilities Plan

The Duvall City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the adoption by reference of the Riverview School District’s 2024 6-year Capital Facilities Plan into the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Impact fees for new residential development are provided for in the school district’s capital facilities plan. The City of Duvall collects this impact fee by issuing residential building permits on behalf of the Riverview School District. The proposed impact fee is $8,622 for a single-family residential unit and $615 for a multi-family residential unit. All interested parties may attend and provide testimony to the above proposal during the public hearing. Written comments intended for the City Council must be received by the City Clerk's office no later than noon on the hearing day, addressed to PO Box 1300, Duvall, WA 98019, or deposited at the City Hall drop box located at 15535 Main St. NE, City, or sent by email to cityclerk@duvallwa.gov. The public hearing will occur during the City Council’s regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, AT 7:00 P.M. (Pacific Standard Time) at the Duvall Visitor Center, 15619 Main Street NE, Duvall, WA 98019. Instructions for attending via Zoom are located on the City Council Agenda. Agendas can be accessed via the City’s website at https://www.duvallwa.gov/AgendaCenter. Following the public hearing, the City Council may make a final decision on adopting the school district’s 2024 6-year capital facilities plan by reference to the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
