Adam Olen serves on the Duvall City Council, having been appointed in early 2025 and elected later that year. He brings more than two decades of cross-sector leadership and advisory experience supporting nonprofits, small businesses, and mission-driven organizations. Professionally, Adam leads a Duvall-based leadership and strategy firm that helps organizations and individual leaders navigate complexity, strengthen systems, and align their work with community well-being and long-term resilience.
Since joining the Council, Adam has contributed to improvements in civil service governance, emergency communication practices, interlocal agreements, accessibility standards, and the integration of environmental sustainability into city planning efforts. His work emphasizes clarity, transparency, and strengthening long-term systems that support effective governance and community resilience.
Adam participates in continuing municipal leadership education through the Association of Washington Cities and National League of Cities, and engages in regional collaboration through the Sound Cities Association, Snoqualmie Valley Governments Association, and other regional partners. He holds a bachelor's degree from Florida International University, graduating magna cum laude, and has been a proud member of the Duvall community since 2017.
