The program is eligible for non-profit organizations that seek to:
- Promote the City of Duvall as a visitor destination;
- Enhance tourism to the City of Duvall;
Enhance Duvall's economic health by expanding, creating, attracting, or retaining business in Duvall;
Support existing non-profit events that request City fee waivers or anticipate significant City involvement, including staff time, equipment, or other resources.*
The Economic Development and Tourism grant program is designed to seed ideas for events and programming that can become self-sustaining in the future. Eligible projects include new, innovative, or creative initiatives that align with the program's goals. Please note that this program is not intended to cover ongoing operational costs for existing programs. Since the program currently lacks dedicated funding in the 2025-2026 City budget, the Duvall City Council is particularly interested in proposals that could lead to a budget amendment to support the program's objectives.
*Any non-profit organization with an existing event that wishes to request fee waivers for banners, permits, or rental facilities, or that anticipates significant City staff, equipment, or resource involvement, should apply for those waivers through the 2026 Economic Development and Tourism grant program. This process ensures the City of Duvall's in-kind support for your event or program. For application instructions and eligibility, please consult the City's official guidelines or contact the City office directly.
