Pre-application Meeting

Notice: Sewer Moratorium. On September 21, 2021, the City of Duvall passed a 6-month Emergency Ordinance that prohibits, with exceptions, connections to the sewer system and became effective immediately. On March 15, 2022 and September 6, 2022, the City of Duvall extended the moratorium an additional six months. The City is not accepting new building and land use applications that require sewer connection but continues to assist and hold pre-application meetings for future projects. See FAQ.


PURPOSE

Pre-Application Meetings are required for all development proposals that require a Type III, IV, or V land-use permit application. Pre-Application meetings may also be required for Type VI land-use permit applications at the Community Development Director’s discretion.

At a Pre-Application meeting, Applicants will have an opportunity to meet with a representative from the City’s Planning, Building, and Public Works Departments as well as a representative from Woodinville Fire to go over your proposal and address any outstanding questions or concerns you may have and that the City may have for your proposal that need to be addressed prior to formal application submittal. Please keep in mind that the more information you can provide us about your development proposal the more feedback we can provide you.

APPLICATION FEE AND SUBMITTAL

Pre-Application Meetings require a payment of $407.40 (USD). Your meeting will be scheduled no earlier than ten (10) business days after receipt of all required documents (listed in the Pre-Application Meeting Submittal Checklist) and payment.


LOCATION AND TIME

Currently, pre-application meetings are held virtually via Zoom or Microsoft teams. These meetings are usually scheduled on Wednesdays between the hours of 2:00PM and 3:00PM and last approximately one (1) hour.
