Recruiting New Board Members

The City of Duvall, in partnership with the King County Library System (KCLS) is seeking candidates for position #5 and youth member on the Duvall Advisory Library Board. Acting as a bridge between the library and the local community, the primary purpose of the Board is to be a library advocate.  The Board communicates with the City, KCLS, and library staff about needs in the community that the local library and the city can assist in addressing.  Members, who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council, serve without compensation for a three-year term, and youth board members serve a one-year term.

If you're interested in a unique opportunity to serve as a library advocate in our community, please complete an application form and drop it off to City Hall at 15535 Main Street NE or via US postal to PO Box 1300, Duvall, WA  98019. You can also email it to the city liaison, Jodi Wycoff. Primary consideration will be given to applications submitted by 4:00 p.m. on May 31, 2019.
