Shoreline Master Program Update
The City of Duvall adopted its Shoreline Master Program to comply with Washington State requirements under the Shoreline Management Act on April 19, 2016 under Resolution 16-07. The Snoqualmie River is the only body of water in the City of Duvall classified as a shoreline of the state. Duvall's Shoreline Master Program (SMP) contains goals and policies, development regulations, and permitting procedures for managing the Snoqualmie River Shoreline in the Duvall city limits.
The City is currently in the process of updating its Shoreline Master Program with funding assistance from the Department of Ecology. The City held an Open House on August 14, 2019, the power point from that event can be viewed here.
