Responsibilities
The City Clerk's Office handles general office administration at City Hall. Just a sample of the duties carried out by this office include:
- Initial public contact at City Hall
- Preparation of City Council meeting agendas and minutes
- Receives Citizen Action Requests
- Manages and responds to requests for Public Records
- Liaison with Washington State for City Business Licenses
- Liaison with King County to issue Pet Licenses
- Maintains Small Works Roster and Vendor List using MRSC Rosters
- City liaison with King County Elections
- Serves as the designated agent for receiving claims against the city
- Manages official records, including Ordinances and Resolutions
- Custodian of contracts and agreements
- Publishes various city publications
- Assist in maintaining the official City of Duvall website
- Manages Rose Room use and rental
- Manages Special Event requests
- Manages City of Duvall Recycling events and grants
