Women's Self Defense Course - R.A.D.

FREE RAD (Rape Agression Defense) classes are being offered to all women who are interested. Contact Shelley Olson, RAD Instructor, via or 425-788-1519 to get more information or sign up for the class.

The RAD System is a detailed and comprehensive course for women that begins with crime prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands on self-defense. This program is dedicated to teaching defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, by utilizing easy, effective and proven self defense tactics. This course is taught by certified instructors in the area of women's self defense.

This class is (12) twelve hours in length. You must attend all four sessions.

  • When: Tuesday, July 20th and Thursday, July 22nd or
    Tuesday, July 27th and Thursday, July 29th
  • Where: TBA
  • Cost: FREE (Duvall-Carnation Police Department is pleased to offer this program at no charge.
  • What To Bring: Athletic attire is recommended. Sweatpants and cross training type running shoes that provide lateral support are preferred.

This program is presented by the Duvall-Carnation Police Department and is taught using the nationally recognized RAPE AGGRESSION DEFENSE SYSTEM.
