Shoreline Master Program Update

The City of Duvall Planning Commission hosted its first Shoreline Update Open House on February 2, 2011. Thank you to all the participants!

The City of Duvall is updating its Shoreline Master Program to comply with Washington State requirements under the Shoreline Management Act. The Snoqualmie River is the only waterbody in the City of Duvall classified as a shoreline of the state. Duvall's Shoreline Master Program (SMP) contains goals and policies, development regulations, and permitting procedures for managing the Snoqualmie River Shoreline in the Duvall City limits.

The City last updated its Shoreline Master Program in 1974. The City received funding from the Department of Ecology to update its Shoreline Program.
