Will Ibershof was elected Mayor in November 2005 and sworn in on December 8, 2005 after serving 4 years on the City Council. He is currently serving his second term as Mayor where he is working with the City Council on three priorities for 2011.
The top three priorities this year include technology improvements, community planning, and debt management. For technology improvements we are looking at how we can communicate better with our community, how do we better utilize the tools we have and how can we engage different private sector vendors to improve our internet service. Secondly planning for the 2013 Duvall Centennial is underway with involvement from various community groups and individuals. Finally debt management, how can we better manage our debt for today and the future.
Will works as a Public Sector Manager for a national environmental services company on the Eastside. He received his Bachelors of Arts from the University of Puget Sound and recently completed his Masters in Public Administration from the University of Washington. He along with his wife and three sons and have resided in Duvall since 1989
