1. How do I obtain a concealed pistol license?

City of Duvall residents may apply for a CPL During normal business hours,Monday through Thursday between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, closed for lunch between 12:00 and 12:30 PM.For all original applications, the applicant will need to make an appointment for fingerprinting between the hours 9:00 AM and Noon on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.See Concealed Pistol License and Fingerprinting

2. Where can I get a copy of a Duvall Police report?

The Duvall Police Department provides copies of police reports and traffic collision reports for incidents that occurred within the City of Duvall and that the department has investigated. A request for case/collision reports form is required to be filled out and submitted for review. It takes approximately 5 business days to process your request. Washington State law (RCW 42.56.520) and Duvall Police Department policy regulates who may receive copies of cases. In some instances, your copy may be edited to withhold certain information pending disposition of the case, or for other reasons. See Public Records Requests

3. I have a Duvall address, so why am I serviced by King County Sheriff?

Not all Duvall addresses are served by the Duvall Police. Residents of unincorporated King County who wish to obtain pistol licenses, get fingerprints, etc. should contact their nearest King County Sheriff's office

4. Where do I got to have fingerprints taken?

The Duvall Police Department provides these "courtesy" services to residents of the City of Duvall only. We also provide fingerprinting services for the Riverview School District, but an applicant must have an authorization form from the district and identification showing a current address or we will not be able to provide the service. 5. I Have property that is being held by the Duvall Police Department. How do I get it back?

Property is held in evidence for three specific reasons:

1. Evidence in a criminal case
2. Safekeeping
3. Found Property

Property is released only to the legal owner and by appointment only. If your property is being held as evidence in a criminal case, approval from the Prosecuting Attorney must be given before releasing the property back to the owner. To make an appointment to pick up property, please call the Property Clerk at 425-788-1519.

6. Who provides animal control within the City of Duvall?

The City of Duvall Contracts with King County Animal Control for animal care and control issues. King County Animal Services

7. I'm locked out of my car. Can you help me get into it?

Yes, however the vehicle owner must consent to the risk of possible damage from the use of the entry equipment. The Duvall Police Department will assume no liability if damage is sustained to the vehicle.

8. Can I arrange for a tour of the Police Department?

Yes, we will work with Duvall residents to set a mutually convenient time, generally between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Tours generally last about an hour and are tailored to the ages of the tour group. 9. Does Duvall Police Department have a Drug Take-Back program? How can I dispose of my unwanted and expired medications?

YES. Please come by during business hours to drop of your medication.
