The City of Duvall cannot accept cash payments while closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and has listed alternate payment methods below. If cash is your only option, please give the City a call at 425-788-1185 to discuss payment arrangements.
OPTION 1: The preferable option for utility payments is by Visa or Mastercard through the City’s website. Select “Pay City Utility Bill” from the panel on the right of the City’s home screen or go directly to: https://duvall.merchanttransact.com/. Here you can either register your account or do a quick payment, which does not require registration. Both options require a full customer account number. This option is free, available 24/7 and is effective immediately (once a confirmation number is received, the payment has been applied to your utility account).
OPTION 2: A check or money order can be placed in the City Hall drop box, which is located to the left of the entrance to City Hall. If you’d like a receipt emailed or mailed to you, please provide contact information with your payment.
OPTION 3: Official Payments can also be used to pay utility bills online at www.officialpayments.com or by calling 1-800-272-9829. The City’s jurisdiction code (5628) will be needed as well as your full account number. If paying online, select “Local Payments” and enter the jurisdiction code. Under “Payment Type” select “Utility Bill”. The rest is self-explanatory. A confirmation number will be provided after the payment is processed.
PLEASE NOTE: OFFICIAL PAYMENT CHARGES A CONVENIENCE FEE TO THE CUSTOMER. THE FEE AMOUNT IS BASED ON THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF THE PAYMENT. This fee can be anywhere from $5.00 to over $1,000. Official Payments accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.
